My named is Sophay Chhin, I been a resident of Santa Rosa ever since I can remember. I have been attending SRJC since late 2006 after getting out of the Marines. I served in the Marines for four years stationed in 29 Palms, out in the desert. I am a full-time Banker at Wells Fargo Bank in Santa Rosa. I have been with the company for about two years now. So if any of you needs an account or currently bank with Wells Fargo, and have questions let me know and I'll try my best to assist you.
I'm working towards to getting my AA degree, it has been taking me awhile due to work and not being able to attend school every semester. This is my first online class I have taken, I hope I do well. Its probably going to take me some time to get us to it. I'm looking forward to read everyone's blog.

ReplyDeleteWelcome to our class and to online learning! It takes a little while to get used to taking a course online, but after a few weeks, I think it gets easier.
Are you planning to stay in Business or will you major in something else?

Hi Sophay, thats really great that you served in the Marines for 4 years. Im gonna try to go for CHP but due to all the budget cuts everywhere, only two of the people in my semester of police academy got hired on/sponsored and Im pretty sure its form SRPD. You said you were interested in law enforcement, you should try for police academy. Check out their webpage on the SRJC website under Criminal Justice. ReplyDeleteHello Sophay, what an experience you must have had as a marine.I work full time myself, it can be tough managing both at once. I'm curious to know the answer to Lauren's question as well. Where are you headed after your AA?
