Writing topic for chapter 51

Chapter 51 focuses on managing information; avoiding plagiarism. They say effective researchers is a good record keeper. Keep a record of any sources you decide to consult. You want to give credit to those who offered the information you don't want to plagiarism which is another term for stealing. A good way to keep track of source materials is by photo coping them or print them out. Be careful when you take notes because you don't want to plagiarism language from your sources. When summarizing your sources always make sure that its in your own words so your not plagiarizing. Lastly, if you're going to use an exact word from you source make sure you use quotation marks.
I need to work on giving credit to my sources. I sometimes forget where I get my sources from. In the future I would learn to either photocopy or jog do the information.
